Found multiple specimens growing out of fallen rotten wood in a mostly Poplar forest
Growing on birch trunk.
Forested area, somewhere around cold lake. I believe these are edible but not choice
Grew on the bottom of the tree, near the forest floor but on the tree itself.

May be a bolete species. Growing on forest floor, near edge of mixed wood forest, predominantly conifers
Location accurate within 30km. This was an amazing find, in the middle of an old growth mixed wood forest. There must’ve been 20 pounds of it. This mushroom is known for its great taste, and nootropic medicinal properties.
