I am generally interested in nature and its conservation and protection. We live in a world, where people are filling more and more, and where nature and its condition for survival are threatened in many places on earth. I live in Denmark on the edge of a forest and love to walk in it and observe, what emerges during the year - plants, butterflies, fungi and insects etc. In addition, my husband and I are preparing a guidebook of national parks in Western Europe - 57 national parks are included in the book, which we expect will be published around April 1, 2020. We have visited all the parks, which include all national parks in Italy, Spain, France, Austria, Switzerland, Malta, Slovenia, Portugal and one in Germany. The book lists flora and fauna lists of the most important species in each park - typically 200 species are distributed between flora and fauna. Many of them are endemic to the area, which is why it is sometimes difficult for us to get photos of these species. Therefore, I am interested in that some would like to help us with these photos. In return, we offer a free copy of our guidebook as well as the photographer's name mentioned in our list of photos. Our aim with the book is to promote the awareness, that national parks are our museums for nature, where you can still see, how nature looks like, when we humans do not interfere. And to observe the biodiversity, which is declining.
