Linaria dalmatica is a herbaceous plant native to western Asia and southeastern Europe that has become a weed in other areas. Its common names include Balkan toadflax, broadleaf toadflax, and Dalmatian toadflax.

How to recognize it? 5

Bright yellow flowers with long spur, similar to snapdragon. Rubbery, waxy, heart shaped blue-green leaves clasp the stem.

When are they blooming in Banff National Park? End of June at the earliest. Full bloom usually between end of July and mid to end August Bloom/seeding continuing on until mid-September.
