Size: 65-72 mm

First Fundy record: First found in the park on August 24th, 2013 at MacLaren Pond by Bio-blitz participant Heleena

Habitat/Status: Uncommon to locally common in southern New Brunswick, apparently rare in the north. This is a species that tends to inhabit smaller, open streams, beaver ponds and small lakes, particularly those with emergent vegetation

Flight period in New Brunswick: July 30th- October 11th
