Adult Size: 47-55 mm

First Fundy record: Has not yet been recorded in the park or Albert County, but occurs in all adjacent counties, so should be here. This is one of our 10 target species for 2016.Status/Habitat: One of the more widespread Striped Emerald species (Genus Somatochlora) in the Maritimes. Nevertheless, where it occurs, it is never particularly abundant. When you encounter a swarm of Striped Emeralds in early July, you usually get a few of these mixed in.

Flight Period in New Brunswick: May 27th-September 5th
