This wasp was next to an apparently paralyzed spider, then left it to work on a small burrow for a several minutes. I accidentally knocked the spider off of the leaf it was on so it fell 2 inches or so; the wasp went over to check on the spider, found it, moved it back to where it had been, then went back to digging again. (I left, but can't believe that spider was ever going to fit in that burrow!)
