A common butterfly in my garden. I cant remember what theyre called but we had hundreds of them swarmong around our red passion flower all summer. Their catepillars are a cherry red with black upright hairs, though i couldn't find one today. This one fluttered about from flower to flower and let me get really close. Possibly one that was hatched here earlier in the year? On a cool morning in an urban backyard.
