Creek Chub (Semotilus atromaculatus)Observer

2 individuals shown: first one (picture 1) was about 5.5cm, second one (pictures 2 and 3) were about 7cm. There were hundreds of these guys in the creek, and the largest looked like they could be around 10cm. I'm curious what they are, since I don't really know anything about identifying fish.

Sadly this one appeared to be injured, but it was still moving. I found it struggling to climb out of the creek (4th picture), with damaged wings and abdomen.
