Description

On hardwood twig. Cap 0.8-1.2", broadly conic, white w/ organgish center. Gills attached, white turning grey. Partial veil, remnants on cap. Stalk white 1.6-2.0" x 0.1-0.15". Shore print dary grey. Spores ellipsoid, smooth, hyaline 6.8-7.5 x 3.5-4.5 microns

Description

In sandy soil under hardwoods. Cap 1-2", broadly conic w/ darker umbo, scaly, orange/brown. Gills brown, attached, finely serrated w/ white edges. Stalk light color w/ scales/elongated fibers. Spore print brown. Spores ellipsoid, smooth, pale brown 9.2-10.9 x 4.8-5.2 microns. Similar to I. lacera but spores are too small.

Description

On partially debarked hardwood log. Myxomycetes (Stephenson & Stempen) says "... or less commonly yellowish-brown."
