I found this group of fungi on a twig that was not attached to a tree. It was found next to both crustose and foliose lichens. The fungi appeared to have a cup shape.

There were many newt eggs found in the vicinity of this California Newt. I believe this is a California Newt because the line between the orange and dark brown side of the newt goes right through the newt's eyes. The newt was 10 centimeters in length from the top of it's head to the tip of it's tail.

This centipede was found under a rock. When I lifted the rock, I found it curled up in a little nook. There were some other bugs in the vicinity of the centipede.
