Found this lichen on a tree outside of the College of Liberal Arts. I believe this is the correct species of lichen as this species is highly found in Texas and lichen well typically grow in trees that are not disturbed.

I believe this plant is the American century since it has the same rough leaves and spiky edges that the American century has. The american century also is known to grow in Arizona and Texas.

Heavenly Bamboo (Nandina domestica)Observer

This was also found at the Waller Creek in an open area of sun which is where they typically grow. On top of the appearance of the plant, it was believed this plant was heavenly bamboo due to its growth in the open sun and it being known to grow around Waller creek. This was introduced via anthropogenic drainage.

Found this in a patch of grass near Waller Creek. There’s quite a few them scattered about as they grown in warm, moist areas which works in this case since it had recently rained when I taken the picture.

Found this spider at Waller Creek and believe it could be the Green Lynx as they are commonly found on green plants in North America just like this one was found.

This was seen at the Waller Creek area and likely was Tropical Sage as they are seen throughout the Southeastern United States. They also grow in areas where they can be well watered and are found in hot/warm climates.
