I'm leaning on calling this a downy lobe violet because the other yellow violets accoring to other observations are not common to my area and this one looks the most similar to mine. The is starting to flower, although is not as dominant as the marsh blue violet in our woods.

Most of these plants are now flowering in our woods. I think it looks more similar to a marsh blue violet than a common blue violet. Our soils are generally a heavier textured, and poorer drained.

I'm pretty sure this is hairy bittercress with if rosette and flower. This was not in the woods but in one of our wheat fields. I'll see it in crop fields in areas here and there. If its not hairy bittercress but a different bittercress let me know.
