I'm an amateur naturalist specializing in a few beetle families as they occur in North America:

I'm happy to provide an explanation for my ID on request. In order to save time when IDing large batches of observations, I don't provide an explanation by default unless I am disagreeing with a Research Grade observation.

While I hold myself to a high standard when identifying, I always recommend doing your own research before agreeing with one of my identifications.
