Biologist from Guatemala, I've worked in various botany related projects. From flora characterization in different localities, a morphometric study of the cacao varieties, and the medicinal plants used by mayan q'eqchi' traditional healers.

I have particular interest in epipythes (Bromeliaceae and Orchidaceae), forest ecology, agroforestry, conservation and ethnobotany.
