Taking part in the B&BC Lockdown League is super easy:

1) Download the iNaturalist app or sign up to inaturalist.org

2) Find wildlife in your garden and photograph it. This could include any wild species - e.g. birds, wildflowers, insects, frogs, mammals

3) The recognition software in iNaturalist will help you to identify what you've found.

4) Once you upload your sighting to iNaturalist, other users will also help to identify what you've seen - this is a great way to learn about your garden wildlife!

Q: Can I also take wildlife photos while doing my daily exercise? Will these records also count?
A: Yes, but please follow the latest government COVID-19 guidance.

Q: Will my records also automatically count towards the #CityNatureChallenge ?
A: Yes, if they are recorded during the 24th to 27th April.
