Lowest tide of the year: minus 3.3 foot

Tomorrow, the ides of June, offers a chance to do some serious tide pool blitzing. If you want to join me, I'll start at 11am at the submerged rock jetty and eel grass beds offshore from the Fort Flagler Sewage Lagoon. This is where there used to be a long pier, once called the fishing pier, but originally it was a service pier for military. Nice mix of habitat in an area that is current swept - so rich with life.
