Review of Ducks, Swans, Geese of India

• Purpose of the project - India is home to many species of ducks and is also a winter refuse for migratory ducks.
  However, the condition of existing wetlands is under threat of pollution, developmental projects, and birds are getting less and less in number....this attempt to compile may throw some light.

  200-500 observations - Cotton Pygmy-Goose, Common Teal, Mallard, Knob-billed Duck, Eurasian Wigeon, Gadwall, Greylag Goose
  100-200 observations - Red-crested Pochard, Common Pochard, Tufted Duck, Swan Goose, Fulvous Whistling-Duck, Ferruginous Duck
  20-50 observations - Muscovy Duck, Greylag Swan Goose, Common Merganser, Andaman Teal, Black Swan, Common Shelduck, White-winged Duck
