City Nature Challenge 2021 is only hours away!

The City Nature Challenge 2021 is upon us. The observation window begins midnight tonight and runs for four days. Get out there this weekend and see what you can discover. You'll have up until May 9th to upload your observations. Follow the steps below to watch the observations come in as the challenge progresses.
Upload any observation this Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, from the Greater Adelaide area, and your observation is automatically included in the challenge. You can join the City Nature Challenge 2021: Greater Adelaide project to receive notification of any journal posts. Bookmark and revisit the page across the challenge to see new observations coming in.
If you're outside the Greater Adelaide area, you can still participate by joining this City Nature Challenge: Global Project.
Also join and bookmark the City Nature Challenge 2021 Umbrella Project. Here you can see all results from the hundreds of cities involved.
Get involved with the #5onFri Challenge by spending your Friday lunchtime making 5 observations and sharing on social media.
Last year South Australia had the highest participation rate (202 observers) and most observations (6,700) of any participating city in Australia. Let's see if we can break our own records.
