Groenland Wolf Spider (Pardosa groenlandica)

Description

Rocky area beside Mission Creek (450 m). Length 10 mm. Female with egg sac, running very quickly in crevices and spaces of the rocks. Keys to Pardosa but I currently have no key to the species, of which there are many in southcentral BC. Photos show dorsal and ventral views, the epigynum, spinnerets, the carapace anteriorly, and underside of head. Although not visible in photo, 3 distinct retromarginal teeth on chelicerae.
