Description
With Prickly Ash (Zanthoxylum americanum) being common in suitable riparian oak gallery forest in eastern Nebraska the Giant Swallowtail is a natural resident. Never common but these butterflies are powerful fliers and capable of flying great distances. If you have the Prickly ash host plant in your yard they will find it.
