Description
I thought it could also be very young bracket fungus, since there was a lot of Stereum complicatum (crowded parchment) and Stereum ostrea (false turkey-tail) around the area this was found. It seemed to have a little bit more of a distinct cup shape though, which is why I’m leaning towards Scytinostroma artocreas.

Description
White, rubbery, dry shelf on rotting log near trail with velvety gray underside. Spores, if visible, are very small, possibly round. Aroma sweet, fragrant, like Lactarius camphoratus. Has same coloration and texture as Kretzschmaria deusta.
