Looks like a jaw bone, all the teeth look like maybe the same shape, but the first several are much smaller and thinner than the ones at the back. I couldn’t find any other bones in the area, but there was a mouse nest, several Marbled salamanders, and a Dekay’s snake in the area.

ID is a guess coming from an anecdote of another student finding a racoon skull here a couple years ago. I couldnt find the skull again unfortunetly.

Last photo includes a house sparrow skull found elsewhere (left; https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/216019050) for comparison. From looking online, it seems new world sparrows tend to have more gracile, downwards-curving beaks and a thinner frontal bone between the orbits.

Bone of some kind, about 12 inches long, reminds me of a leg bone because it's missing the softer joint at the top but the bottom doesn't seem like deer or cow?

Description
Skull was photographed next to a hiking trail near Lyons Ranch. I think this is a bobcat based on the general shape, size of the canines, and number of premolars (which I think rules out domestic cat). Unfortunately I didn't have a real camera with me and didn't think to include a scale reference, but it was too small to be a mountain lion.

Last photo is some more S.mestus lined up and measured. I took that photo on the 6th November 2021. I found them in the days before the 6th November 2021. S. mestus bones are abundant on the Northern Gold Coast beaches where I run, at the same time again this year (Nov 2022).

Fungus(?) found growing directly on the soil of a creek bed which did not have water in it at the time. Soil was sandy and damp, the creek probably had water in it most recently a week or two earlier.
