At growing edge of colony; enlarged, a few extended lophophores are visible. 2nd image shows an Acanthodoris pilosa found feeding on the same colony. Underside of a boulder in a low intertidal pool.

Description
Larval right eye flounder that had completed metamorphosis but was still pelagic, near a shallow reef though so possibly preparing to transition to benthic. Could be one of several local species but it lacks the identifiers used in adults, if anyone knows larval flatfishes and could offer ID it would be much appreciated!

Some type of eel? Mostly featureless by the time I found it. I just had a macro lens so capturing the entire body wasn't possible. Close to a meter in length. Crabs were aggressively defending their meal, they would wrestle it away after each attempt of mine to find the head of the animal
