Description
Raiding what appears to be a Crematogaster sp. colony, based on the pupae they're carrying. Probably C. dentinodis or opaca based on the location.
Seems like they had "checkpoints" where they would pile up raided pupae and larvae, a similar behavior to other army ants like Eciton.
Thanks to @cheetolord02 for spotting them, definitely a cool find.

Description
Surprisingly, nearly every Trachymyrmex arizonensis colony in the area had Strumigenys arizonica associated with them, some with Strumigenys workers wandering around just outside the nest entrance.
The photographed colony was found under a rock.

This tiny ant stood out with its colourful body as it was exposed by the removal of the row of logs that lay on the ground.
There was only one of these ants to be seen during this chore undertaken in a garden.

Description
Observation is for smaller ants on harvester ant.
- First three photos are cropped from three of the last four photos.
- Smaller ants seemed to be attacking Harvester ant(s) as they left a small hole. I wasn't clear which ant exit/entrance hole it was. But i saw the Harvester ant enter and exit, then get attacked.
- Observation/post for Harvester ants is found here: https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/155903749
