Something seemed off about this corella. It was on a very low branch, and it let me go really close and didn't fly away. Also, its left wing looked much lower than its right wing, so I thought it could have been injured. We ended up calling WIRES, and I decided just to wait with it rather than catching it straight away as it didn't move much. About an hour later, someone from WIRES arrived and agreed that the wing looked damaged. The first time he tried to catch it, it managed to glide into someone's backyard. He then asked the home owner if he could catch the bird. After successfully catching it, he said that he suspects its wing was only dislocated as it managed to glide a bit. He also said that as it is likely only dislocated rather than fractured or broken, it will likely survive with help from a vet.

I walked up to her to try to get a photo, and I noticed she was laying eggs! Luckily, she didn't look disturbed by me

This individual has some wonderful spots
An individual laying on the fence catching the last rays of afternoon sun. The photos were taken on a Samsung galaxy s7 so if you have older devices don't underestimate them when taking observations!
