Common name: green elfcup
Location: Oakley corners state forest
Ecology: saprotrophic especially on oak but sometimes on beech trees. Notifiable by green stained wood.
Morphology: cup shaped but becomes plane, 0.2-0.5 cm wide, flesh is blue green. Spores can be subfusiform or cylindrical
It is most common to see blue/green stained wood before discovering the fruiting bodies.
