Update: je viens d'observer ce changement de livrée.
Il l'a conservée environ 5 secondes avant de revenir au mode noir/chocolat
BC, 3. Mouth size <1mm. Length 70-100mm.
Poisson vraiment particulier: locomotion/nage, position de la tête, alimentation.
Semble ne craindre aucune des autres espèces présentes.
Forme un groupe d'individus qui se réunissent parfois en étroit contact.
Chassent/s'alimentent de jour. Plutôt immobiles la nuit. Sur fond de sable exposé, jour et nuit.
7mars (contrôle): longueur 70mm. - 90mm. 90mm. probablement mâles.
Livrées différentes chez 2 individus du même âge.
Temps pour changer de livrée (obscur à rayé ou le contraire) inférieur à 60 minutes.
Feb23: same individuals, dark livrée, light spot on shoulder .
Rapides modifications de livrée (vidéo, 6 minutes): 8 avril 2024, h, même individu.

Found in a shallow freshwater stream (about 1m depth) on Moorea Island
