A small mud nest was damaged during window washing. The egg and three prey items (caterpillars) were removed and placed in a jar. The larva hatched and set about consuming the larvae, one of which went mouldy and was discarded. The larva appeared to pupate but the following day the pupa had sort of dissolved (mould?).
