A rather small plume moth

Actually so confused by this thing. Yellow portion was somewhat squishy, but had a membrane overtop that seemed more rigid

First 4 photos showing it shooting and attaching a web, which it used like a tightrope to get to a nearby shrub from my hand.

I really am not quite sure what to make of this. They look almost like fern fronds but only appear in the radial cracks in the wood.

Found in a moss specimen under microscope in Botany lab. Don’t know if moss is local or not

On tape from child’s anus

This observation is for the white fungi growing on the mushroom

Few fruits and leaves growing on Abrotanella fosteroides cushion plants. Apparently uncommon, but very cryptic when not in fruit.

Found under loose bark from tree infected with Biscogniauxia marginata

Found outside and moving very slowly. 27°F with 16°F wind chill; 86% humidity
