My personal trail cam captures
This is probably the same animal as the one I saw 20 minutes earlier less than a quarter mile away. In a conifer on the Heart Lake Trail: https://wildadirondacks.org/heart-lake-trail.html
Adult (presumed female) with 3 young.
Not laughing. Panting from the heat and the exertion of pulling its prize across the road. https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/19079800
The zebra was injured during the river crossing but made it to shore. A leopard appeared from nowhere to finish it off, but then the croc came from the water for a standoff... the croc eventually backed down.
Watching for bears from a hide for 14 hours. Saw at least 22 different bears, probably more. Three different mother bears with two or three cubs from this year.
A sow and her older cub I think. They were play fighting at one point and then went downstream in search for fish. Later I watched the sow swim around in the water with her eyes under, presumably to see the fish, while the cub waited on shore nearby.
A Mountain Lion that was just sitting along the Window Pour-Off Trail in Big Bend National Park, Texas.
Gray Wolfves (Canis lupus) at Fountain Flats, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.
Incredible experience with this Mink. She was moving her babies from one den to another. When I arrived, I was told she had already moved 2. I saw her move 2 more.
Not sure why she was doing this, but guessing her den was disturbed somehow. It is right next to a place where fishermen sit, but not sure if it was that or another animal that got up in there.
Such interesting behavior to see!
Gray Fox drinking along Creek that is on Private Property
A handsome young male.
Lake Ndutu, Serengeti National Park, Tanzania, East Africa.
Panthera pardus orientalis
