Adult accidentally flushed off of nest and seen well (nightjar with buffy outer tail feathers). Second photo is of adult, who landed about 20' from the nest site (I didn't stick around to get a better photo).

I finally found her! 🥳🥳🥳 Last year, I attempted to find “Stella” TWICE with my father; the first time ended up being the day she went missing, and the second time my family ended up getting Covid-19, and we couldn’t go and look. So, after my second year of searching, this was truly one of my most amazing sightings I’ll never forget. 🤩
