Could also be a hybrid with Endler's Livebearer but it seems like genetically these are at least mostly Guppy. Last photo is of the gonopodium.
Caught by fish pond owners in their pond. Probably feasting on their fishes.
While observing a group of endangered Red-legged Frogs, we found this non-native Fire-bellied Toad. I also recognized the croak of a second frog further down the creek, since I have kept this species as pets for many years. Coincidentally, a herpetologist doing contract work for GGNRA was nearby and had the equipment to capture the frog.

Eastern newt eft found under log near our private pond. This would be the third eft form I've found in this general vicinity. It is without a doubt that a breeding population of Notophthalumus (exotic) are established here in Whatcom county Washington.
Both found in same pond, small one young or male and large one female (~20 cm in length).

A green chiton attached to a half crab. We observed this alien looking commensal beast while undertaking an intertidal survey on the reefs off Hawera. It made us jump when we first turned over the rock.
I am not certain if this was a picture from my trip to Ontario OR from when I returned. Uncertain.

Болотных и красноухих черепах кто-то выпустил в незамерзающий пруд. Живут там около пяти лет. Размножаются или нет, не знаю. Около 4 болотных и несколько красноухих.
Think these are banded killifish, Fundulus diaphanus. ~10 cm long. Shoaling in a shallow creekbed just off the Raritan Estuary. Very skittish -- the slightest move on the bank above & they went dashing off in all directions.
I had never seen a clawed frog larger than a couple inches. This monster was approaching 6 inches. I suspected it was a clawed frog at the time, but I really didn't know because of the size. In hindsight, I probably should have brought it home to live in an aquarium. It may have grown so large by feeding on the other amphibians in this playa.
