American Lappet Moth Caterpillar? Never seen these before! First, found him on front side of my house Pics #2-4 w/muted coloring. An hour later, found him on front steps Pics #1, #5-10 w/brilliant coloring & 2 red bands near his head. Finally, 30mins later, found him still on front steps Pics #11-15 w/more muted coloring, again, and 2 red bands gone. No color enhancements to the photos.
