These plants were growing in sandy soil, in full sun. Stems were becoming red with age. They were upright annuals, modestly branched to unbranched and were 2-10 cm tall. All plant parts had red stipitate glands. Basal leaves were withered. Cauline leaves were fleshy, elliptic, unlobed or with 1-2 lateral lobes. Unlobed leaves were about 4 mm long by 1.5 mm wide. Flowers had 5 white petals about 2.5 mm long. Sepals averaged 1.3 mm long. Ovaries were mostly inferior, with 2-locular carpels. There were 10 stamens, 2 stigmas and 2 styles, with styles at opposite ends of the ovary. Each flower produced 50-80 brown seeds that averaged 0.3 mm long by 0.15-0.20 mm wide. Seeds were strongly papillate in vertical rows.
