Description

Field Notes - Doryphora sassafras, Sassafras. The smooth, green, coarsely toothed leaves smell delicious when crushed, though poisonous to eat. The massed white flowers also give off a remarkable and dustinctive fragrance. These plant found within and at the edge of the Booyong Scrub, Booyong, NSW.
