Can’t remember the restaurant, think it was mostly Italian, they provided a flashlight to look for frogs around the pond behind the dining area while they cooked the meal!

Description

  • The current scientific name of this speccies is Cebus imitaror. It is not a subspecies.

Animals were observed in the at 14:00 hours in the trail to San Pedrillo. There animals are members of a group of ca. 17 individuals.

They were foraging in ground looking by small orange scraps abundant in the area. The two capuchins in the picture were very aggresive, probably defending their territory.

Habitat: Mature Tropical Rain forest

Altitude: 30 m
