Was found during nuptial flight, unfortunately passed away after collecting. Saved specimens and only now got around to taking photos via macro and microscope to confirm hairs on the face of the ant, ruling out nearcticus.
Orange morph. Lack of dense facial hair rules out similar c. caryae.
