Several burrows present but only one Gunnison's Prairie Dog seen and photographed. Not sure if this is a native "colony" or if this animal and perhaps others were trapped and relocated from elsewhere in the Albuquerque area. The species has shown the ability to disperse into parts of Albuquerque that seem rather distant from established colonies.
