One seen resting in a nest that flew to this tree where I snapped this photo.

Saw a patch in bloom right at the trailhead.

I'm not sure if this caterpillar is about to convert to a butterfly. No cacoon that I could see but it attached itself to the concrete. It has fur and small appendages and a blue stripe.

Heard in the trees in the evening. Visual impossible. Bird!
