The field marks that I used to identify this bird was it’s hooked bill, its dark body and slightly yellow bill.

Black all over, “wing-spreading”. Possible juvenile in water; lighter (brown) color, orange-ish yellow skin surrounding long bill. Kinked neck in flight.

Black on top, white on bottom with black bill and llegs.
