Description

Multiple pics of this exotic (South African) garden plant growing as a sward of groundcover (with a few weeds mainly soursob in and around some parts).Same location as the recent iNat submission that I first thought was Carpobrotus rossi, but I have fully accepted my ID error, and wished to see the plants in real time,,given my concern about potential for its becoming a garden escape thence invasive weed. Currently the above patch shows no signs of being invasive, nor did I find any self sets anywhere in the vicinity (up to about 20 meters radius, none, and none seen on nearby suburban footpaths and roundabouts nor the residential gardens fronting many of the properties.
So,all may be well for the time being, in this tiny bit of suburbia, but my concerns remain high:)
