This observation INTENTIONALLY not marked as "captive" due to it being for the disease the fish is sick with. Please do not mark it as captive!!
It's not exactly very visible, but this fish has a lot of white spots on its tailfin as well. There were a fair bit fewer yesterday (before I realized that it was likely ich). Fish have been flashing with increasing frequency over the preceding week, and currently only one of them has visible white spots.
After taking these photos I started treating them with Top Fin Ick Remedy (which contains gentian violet) -- I wanted something with malachite green in it but I couldn't find any at a store that was within range of me, unfortunately. Seems gentian violet should be roughly as good anyways?
