My dad put this gal inside a plastic baggy only because he accidentally grabbed it when he was cleaning and panicked. I want to say she’s a Western Black Widow but not sure and I did release it after these pictures 😅

Description

Time and location approximate. Accidentally dropped metadata on the files.

Focus stack. However the white band on the side of the head that looks like it could be a stacking artifact is not - it's visible in the single shots.

Due to a forum post I was experimenting with no flash focus stacks but maaaaybe not in these particular lighting conditions... the flower petals gave it a really strong color cast too so I honestly have no idea what color this spider really is...
