I am watching these guys in my yard since they have the size of a peanut. Now they have the size of peaches. I guess they are Rhinella schneideri, but still not sure!
I am pretty curious if it's a butterfly or a moth because of the position it keeps its wings!

Found at a friend's house, under a pile of tiles. Not collected and released after the picture was taken.
Shell is about 3" long.

Now the couple left the new nest on the right and are working on the aperture of the old nest on the left...

The typical Larus novaehollandiae (Silver Gull) of Australia is small and attractive, but extremely noisy, often screaming non-stop!
