Saltwater. Vigorously swimming around in the water column. Saw maybe 10-20 individuals. This one is about the size of a dime and the biggest I saw. Most much smaller to the point of being ridiculously tiny
Ejaculating white liquid
threads with vigorous tail end waving in shallow lowtidalzone pools
I think they may be spotted salamander eggs due to the white outer casing (and larger black centre -eggs-) though I can’t be for certain
Saltwater. Only two individuals spotted that day. Very exciting to see! They were between 1 and 2 in not including tendrils.
Freshwater! I have no idea what that is. Could even be a seed pod that flew into the lake. I was hoping for eggs. Chocolate Lake
The cutest crab.
This is a still taken from video I recorded of what appears to be a shrimp mating and or feeding on another shrimp. It was dancing in the water column doing figure eights and swirls while holding onto the other critter. I am curious about what species this is and what exactly this behaviour is.
