With Valeri Ponzo; a visit to see what was around. The weather at the start was overcast, 51 degrees ("feels like" 47!), and breezy; pretty awful conditions for observing wildlife. As a result of the weather, and because I had never done so on any previous visit to the Keys, I concentrated on photographing many plants, most of which likely will be lifers if RGed. We walked about 2.5 miles on the main loop trail. We left at 1505 and headed back to the mainland.
