Subtle Beauty
She was trying to nap on the log that crossed the creek. With her feathers ruffled up, you could see some of her pretty colors normally hidden. The sunlight really brought out her subtle beauty. She went back to sleep as I left.
Ate super early dinner at this little park before presenting to the North Texas Master Naturalists.
