Bark with corky outgrowths. Leaves alternate and serrate with obtuse to flattened bases.

Stem and leaves hairy and rough. Leaves alternate. Top leaves entire but bottom leaves had a couple teeth at the tips. Disk raised into a bump. Flowers like 3 in wide.
Alternate finely divided leaves. Small white flowers in heads with white ray flowers.
