I heard this chickadee before spotting it because of the distinct call it makes. Also the coloring of the white and black on its head are specific to the black-capped chickadee. This bird had just caught a worm and was sitting in the tree eating it when I took this picture.

This fungus is commonly referred to as a shelf fungus because of its flat shape and grows perpendicular to the tree. It is usually brown and can be found on almost any tree.
There were many sword ferns lining the trails and camping areas that were large in size and spread out evenly among other plants on the ground.
The skunk cabbage was very easy to identify because of the smell it gives off. I also found these around the stream in Ravenna Park around horsetail.
Walking down towards Ravenna Park and inside the park itself there were several holly bushes. They were not very big in size
The Salal plant was very common in this area and grew at most elevations.
This tree is tall and has vertical bunches of a yellow flower hanging off most of its branches. The flowers themselves open up and have roughly five petals.
The pigeon closer to the camera was all white with some black on its wings. The pigeon farther away is more commonly seen with the sky blue and purple markings.
The Common Ivy was a little farther back from the trail but was mixed in with the ferns and other smaller trees.
Although this picture is blurry, there were at least 8 Robins on the lawn near the parking lot all looking for food in the wet grass. It was about 11am when I saw these Robins which is about when they seek out worms.
