Large amounts of stiltgrass along this creek
Woody vine. Trifoliate leaf with rachis. Large leaves with 2-lobes outer leaflets and inside leaflets are 3-lobes. Each leaflet has an awn. Fuzzy to the touch.
Alternate, simple, evergreen leaves with entire margins. Upper surface speckled with white and brown dots on leaf underside, especially concentrated at midrib and petiole, giving a rough texture. These “dots” can be scratched off using fingernail. 8 ft tall so I assume a shrub. Plant has yellow rocket-shaped flower bud.
Neatly pinnate veins on alternate leaves. Long pointed buds. Fall color yellow to orange.
Hairy leaves, green petiole with hair, white inflorescence, opposite leaves, serrated margin, younger leaves have no serrations on margin
Very soft, tomentose induentum. Visible short white hairs. Greens stems with pilose hairs.
I think it’s Floridanum based on its shape?
Leaves with shinny, glabrous upper surfaces. Pale underside. Leaves curved (not flat). Bark with white patches.
Red/purple stem and leaf undersurface. Dark green leaves with white around midrib and vines. Serrate margins.
